Assessment

Scientific Reasoning and the Sky programme assessment

You have completed both modules of the Scientific Reasoning and the Sky programme. This assessment checks the core concepts of all eight lessons across twelve questions: claims, testing, falsification, blinding, and the mind's shortcuts of interpretation.

About this assessment

The questions are drawn evenly from both modules: six from Scientific Claims and Testing and six from Mind, Interpretation and Chance. Unlike the in-lesson checks, here you will be asked to apply the concepts to new examples; recognising an idea in an unfamiliar situation matters as much as recalling its definition. If a question trips you up, read that not as a failure but as a signpost to the lesson worth revisiting.
